Job description

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Rental Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations catering to the event and exhibition industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in e-commerce operations, ERP systems management, and a proven track record of effective inventory management. The Rental Warehouse Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of rental equipment while maintaining high standards of safety and compliance.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Team Management and Leadership

• Supervise, train, recruit warehouse staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.
• Set performance objectives, provide regular feedback, and facilitate professional development opportunities.

Warehouse Operations

• Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and dispatch of rental equipment.
• Take a proactive approach to identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.

Inventory Management

• Utilize ERP and rental systems to maintain accurate inventory records and optimize stock levels.
• Implement processes for efficient handling and tracking of rental equipment and raw materials.
• Ensure timely refurbishment of stock to meet customer demand.

Department Systems Management

• Manage and sustain departmental systems including ERP, rental system, tracking system, and warehouse management system.
• Ensure system reliability, data accuracy, and compliance with company standards.

Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE)

• Enforce HSE policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure compliance
• Participate in sustaining and reviewing ISO management systems related to the rental department.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Specialized Operations

• Oversee painting and carpentry operations for furniture refurbishment within the warehouse, ensuring quality and adherence to specifications.

Reporting and Corrective Actions

• Report discrepancies in inventory levels promptly and conduct thorough investigations.
• Lead corrective actions to address inventory issues (counts, finishes, logistical) and prevent recurrence.
• 3 to 4 years of experience in a similar role within the MENA region.
• Proficiency in English and Hindi.
• Bachelor’s degree (12+3 or equivalent).
• Professional certification in Supply Chain (e.g., CILT, or CLTD, or equivalent).
• Must be able to work on weekends and evenings.
• Must have a valid UAE driver’s license and own transport.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel).
• Familiarity with ERP systems
• Experience with warehouse management systems and RFID or other tracking systems.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and collaborate with other departments.
• A logical and systematic approach to work
• Proactive attitude with a visionary approach to problem-solving
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality service.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

• You will correctly use machinery, appliances, tools, transport, and all equipment issued by the company.
• You will correctly use personal protective equipment supplied by the company.
• You will not remove any safety devices for any machinery or installations.
• You will perform all tasks set forth by safety and environmental regulations and thus cooperate with Electra to ensure a working environment and condition that do not pose any risks in terms of health, safety and environment to others.
