Summary
As a Specialist SOAR you will have the opportunity to ensure the smooth operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of software applications within Bell. Your role is crucial in maintaining the reliability and efficiency of our applications particularly those critical for security operations like FortiSOAR and FortiSIEM
Key Responsibilities
• Provide technical Support and maintenance of FortiSOAR and FortiSIEM applications, ensuring that they function optimally to meet business needs. This includes handling user issues, performing regular maintenance tasks. and collaborating with other IT professionals to enhance system performance and security.
• Configure and customize FortiSOAR to meet Bell’s Security Operation needs.
• Develop and maintain FortiSOAR playbooks and workflows for incident response automation.
• Integrate FortiSOAR with other security tools and systems.
• Monitor and analyze security incidents and automate response processes
• Work with an agile team to plan, deploy, test, and maintain applications into the existing ecosystem working with various business stakeholders in Bell.
• Work with vendors to resolve issues that cannot be readily addressed using in-house resources.
• Maintain and improve the performance of existing software
• Resolve operational problems, handle escalated issues as reported through service desk and follow up on outstanding items promptly
• Build and maintain documentation
• Contribute to project meetings and report on issues statuses
Critical Qualifications
• A candidate with at least 5 years of Information Security Applications Support or a similar role.
• Proficiency in managing and supporting enterprise applications with experience working with SIEM and SOAR platforms.
• Deep knowledge and Strong understanding of FortiSOAR and FortiSIEM including FortiSOAR playbook design and configuration, customization and integration.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
• Strong working knowledge of programming/scripting languages and the development tools (Git, API, Python, bash and Powershell) for automation tasks.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
• Basic networking knowledge including TCP/IP, DNS, and firewall configurations.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP are assets.
