Post Office Attendant

Job Summary:

As a part-time Post Office Assistant with Canada Post, you can be an integral part of the team, helping to achieve the mission of providing excellent customer service and efficient mail processing.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maximize customer engagement by promoting postal products and services to both private and commercial customers.
• The proficiency of the mailing system lies in aptly classifying and sorting the mail as per the intended destination.
• Offer customers support, insight, and vital forms.
• Diligently resolve and comprehensively tackle difficulties regarding delivery and service.

Qualifications and Experience:

• The job prerequisites entail a high school degree, provincial equivalency, or practical exposure to the field of business administration.
• Experienced in effectively communicating with customers in retail/service settings, executing sales, and processing financial transactions.
• Competent in executing financial transactions and managing financial records in general or postal offices.
• This job requires a physical capacity to manage mail containers that weigh up to 50 lb, manipulate boxes, sort mail with care, and be able to stand for long hours without getting fatigued.
