Bookkeeper, permanent, part-time. To join a busy company working in Kent and south London. This is an office-based role, in Orpington, working 4 hours per day. £25-30,000 pro rata.
Bookkeeper, permanent, part-time position. You will be working with a small group of colleagues and will mainly be processing payments, invoices, income and receipts and entering data into accounting software or databases then filing hard copies
Bookkeeper role includes:
• Processing payments, invoices, income and receipts and entering data into accounting software or databases then filing hard copies
• Preparing financial statements showing business income and expenditure
• Paying vendor invoices and tracking bank account balances
• Completing VAT returns
• Preparing employee wages
• Managing employee expense claims
• Helping the Accountant with administrative duties and preparing yearly accounts
Bookkeeper Skills & Experience:
3-4 years’ experience in a similar role
• Good attention to detail to enter correct data into financial records
• Administrative skills for filing financial records
• Computer literacy, especially familiarity with spreadsheets, databases and accounting software such as Microsoft Office, Excel and QuickBooks, Sage
• Multi-tasking and organisational skills
• Ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines
• Interpersonal and customer service skills when dealing with customers, suppliers and other staff
• Communication skills
Bookkeeper Package and Benefits:
Location: Orpington. Office-based role, not WFH
Duration: Permanent, Part-time. 4 hours per day x 5 days pw.
Salary: £25,000 – £30,000 pro rata
Hours: 09:00 am to 17:00 pm. Monday to Friday
Holiday: 20 days plus Bank Holidays, pro rata
Start: As soon as possible
