Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to the IB, AP, and IGCSE curricula that foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Utilize various teaching methods and technologies to accommodate diverse learning styles and enhance student understanding of complex mathematical concepts.
Assess and evaluate student progress through regular assignments, tests, and feedback, ensuring that all students meet or exceed their academic goals.
Collaborate with colleagues to design interdisciplinary projects and initiatives that integrate mathematics with other subjects, enhancing the learning experience.
Stay current with educational trends and best practices in mathematics education through professional development and active participation in relevant workshops.
Encourage a positive classroom environment that promotes respect, collaboration, and enthusiasm for mathematics.
Prepare students for external examinations by providing targeted support and resources, ensuring they are well-equipped for success.
Engage in community outreach programs to promote mathematics education and inspire younger students to develop an interest in the subject.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred for advanced teaching roles.
Teaching certification in IB, AP, or IGCSE mathematics, demonstrating proficiency in curriculum standards and pedagogy.
Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in a reputable school, particularly in international or bilingual settings, with a focus on secondary education.
Native or fluent proficiency in English, with additional language skills in French or Spanish being advantageous for a diverse student population.
Strong technical skills in educational technology, including familiarity with online teaching platforms, data analysis tools, and interactive learning resources.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues.
