We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Applications Architect in Houston, Texas. The role is primarily focused on migrating from Informatica PowerCenter to Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS). The job involves setting up and administrating the Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services for Data Integration and developing interfaces using HTTPS and Web Services.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and set up Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services for Data Integration
• Execute task flows using the RunAJobcli utility for command-line execution
• Manage code migrations between organizations/environments
• Set up roles and connections within the Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services
• Configure the Local secure agent and other utilities as required
• Develop interfaces using HTTPS and Web Services
• Handle JavaScript transformations within Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services
• Train existing staff on developing interfaces in Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services
• Maintain accurate customer credit records and process customer credit applications efficiently
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions as necessary.

Requirements

• Possess a strong understanding of Informatica
• Proficient in JavaScript
• Demonstrated experience with PowerCenter
• Proficiency in cloud technologies
• Strong problem-solving skills to design robust applications and software systems
• Excellent communication skills to clearly convey technical concepts to non-technical team members
• Proven experience in designing and implementing complex IT solutions
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Demonstrated understanding of architectural design principles
• Strong knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Proven ability to create high-level architectural specifications
• Experience in ensuring compliance of systems architecture with internal policies and IT standards
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate new and emerging technologies for implementation
• Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent leadership skills with experience in leading technical teams
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
