Amentum is currently searching for a skilled Production Control Clerk to support work at FRC ASE San Diego, CA.

The PC Clerk shall be the focal point of all maintenance procedures and processes, and provide liaison to customers, internal and external. The Production Control Clerk compiles and records production data from government information management systems and reports production status, material consumption, and other aspects of production. May perform any combination of the following duties: Review product specifications and individual worker production sheets, compile and record types and quantities of items produced, maintain preventive maintenance schedules, prepare and submit work orders/requests, and receive, maintain, order and control classified and unclassified technical data and other correspondence in accordance with applicable manuals.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Writing production reports based on data compiled, tabulated and computed, following prescribed formats.
• Maintaining files of documents used and prepared and stores appropriately in accordance with retention period and directives.
• Compiling detailed production sheets or work tickets for use by workers as guides.
• Prepares written work schedules based on established guidelines and priorities.
• Inputs man hours daily/weekly for tracking purposes.
• Charts production, using chart, graph, or pegboard, based on statistics compiled for reference by production and management personnel.
• Performs all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:

Typical office environment with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting to 20 pounds, constant sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must possess planning/organizational skills, and must be able to work under deadlines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be a High School graduate or equivalent.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must have 2 years’ recent experience as a PC clerk/PC analyst.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Pre-employment drug screening is required.
• May be required to pass a U.S. Government background security check.
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English
• Position requires the ability to pass and maintain a Security/SCI Security Clearance.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a Government Common Access Card (CAC)
• Be proficient with computer programs such as Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Must be able to meet and maintain all base access security requirements.
• Ability to accurately type and use computers to analyze, organize, store, retrieve, and manipulate data, and report the results of those operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of maintenance repairs on a variety of equipment.
• ​Knowledge of Continuous Process Improvement.
• ​Time management and prioritization skills.
• ​Ability to stand for a prolong period of time performing repetitive tasks.
• Knowledge of utilizing Support Equipment Management System (SEMS).
• Knowledge of utilizing MAXIMO.
• Knowledge of utilizing OneTouch for reference purposes.
• Strong Telephone etiquette.
