About the role
As a Multimedia Specialist, you will be responsible to bringing Qatar Airways brand to life through captivating multimedia content consisting of video editing, animation, small-scale video shooting, 3D modelling, animation etc. Work alongside creative team within in-house advertising agency, the primary responsibility is to conceptualize, draft, produce and deliver multimedia content that resonate with company’s global audience ensuring Qatar Airways brand stands out in the competitive Global Market.
Other key responsibilities are:
• Contribute to the execution of creative campaign materials across all Qatar Airways communication touch points, with an emphasis on the creation of creative assets for mainly digital usage including Social Media advertising and digital Out-of-Home (OOH) advertising.
• Responsible for conceptualizing, planning, shooting, and editing high-quality video content for marketing campaigns, 3D modelling and rendering, creating animations, sound design and at times developing advertising key visual art concepts and design solutions by conforming to minimum industry standards, while striving to differentiate and set new industry benchmarks.
• Develop and produce a wide range of multimedia content, including but not limited to videos, animations, graphics, and sound mixing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and objectives related to the multimedia content Creation.
• Ensure all multimedia content is aligned with brand’s guidelines and convey intended message effectively.
• Plan, shoot and edit high-quality video content for smaller scale marketing campaigns, product launches, and brand storytelling by utilizing state-of-the-art video equipment, software, and techniques to deliver professional, engaging video content.
• Design and produce animations and motion graphics that enhance the visual appeal and storytelling within multimedia projects.
• Implement creative animation techniques to create dynamic and engaging content.
• Create 3D Modelling, 3D render animations and texture, be proficient in 3D software and render engines.
• Create basic but polished graphic design and basic key visuals when required in Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop
• Stay current with the latest multimedia software, tools, emerging technologies and trends to maintain a cutting-edge approach.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
• Keep project files organized and maintain a version control system for all creative files.
• Collaborate with internal partners within and across departments on the execution of key projects.
• Conduct thorough quality checks to ensure all motion graphics are error free and meet the highest standards of visual excellence.
• Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department
Qualifications
About You
• Command of English language
• Strong skills in video production, shooting and editing
• Good skills in graphic design
• Proficiency in multimedia software, particularly in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, Audition etc.)
• Strong understanding of multimedia trends, emerging technologies, and design principles
• Keep up to date with current and new trends
• A solid grasp of the bigger marketing picture, and flawless execution
• Passion for all things interactive, keeping up-to-date with current technology and design trends, as well as the ability to pay close attention to detail and quality of work
• Interested in continually improving own skills within video production, animation, design
• Strong skills in typography, design, iconography, and imagery
• 3D modelling software (Blender, Cinema 4D, 3DS MAX, Maya, Dimension, Substance etc.) and other industry-standard tools
• Good knowledge of sound design and proficiency in Adobe Audition
