Location – Dubai.

Salary – AED 6000/-

Contract – Long Term ·

Maintain all regular accounting processes such as A/P, A/R, G/L, payroll, accruals, provisions, bank reconciliations, and journal entries plus monthly/annually closure of books.

· Provide assurance about the accuracy of information contained in the company accounting records and compliance with statutory requirements and regulations.

· Maintain internal control system and reporting.

· Monitor customers’ and suppliers’ accounts reconciliation, tax return calculations inclusive of cost accounting plus financial trading data recording processes.·

Reconcile complex general ledgers accounts, verifying accurate GL balances and ensuring proper and relevant support documentation.

Assist management in preparing financial statements and relevant analysis.·

Introduce and maintain accounting system and advise on the selection and application of computer-based accounting systems.

· Handel all calculations for monthly payroll in DMCC.

Advice to employees on calculations of their payments as part of the payroll process.·

Assistance in obtaining work permits for foreigners and support of this process. · Preparation of all HR documents in accordance with the law, passing all checks and audits.

· ⁠Preparation of various certificates for local employees and expats in accordance with their requests.

Requirements

· Bachelor’s Degree from accredited university in appropriate field of accounting and or business administration.

· Strong working knowledge of general accounting with a minimum of 4 years of experience in the accounting field, preferably in petrochemical trading industry. UAE experience is mandatory.

· Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles, including the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

· Experience with accounting software is mandatory (i.e. QuickBooks, Peachtree, Tally, etc.).

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
