What you will do Design and prepare visually stunning and delicious cakes, pastries, and desserts using various techniques, such as icing, fondant, sugar work, and piping. Collaborate with the Executive Pastry Chef and other team members to develop innovative dessert concepts and menus. Ensure all products are made to the highest quality standards, adhering to established recipes and plating guidelines. Maintain proper food handling, safety, and sanitation standards within the pastry kitchen. Supervise and train junior pastry team members to foster a positive and efficient work environment. Monitor inventory, order supplies, and manage waste to minimize food costs and achieve budget goals. Stay updated on current industry trends, techniques, and ingredients to maintain competitive offerings and guest satisfaction. What you will bring Diploma or certificate in pastry arts, cake design, or a related field. Minimum 3-5 years of pastry and cake decorating experience in luxury hotels fine-dining restaurants, or specialized bakeries. 3. Strong artistic and creative skills with a passion for innovation and attention to detail. Proficient in various cake decorating techniques, including icing, fondant, gum paste, and chocolate work. Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with the culinary team. Proficiency in English is must.
