Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for providing system support (first level support for Financial Systems) and carrying out the design and development of all Finance Policies and Procedures (P&P), Delegation of Authority (DoA) in close coordination with the relevant Finance functions
• Responsible for the preparation of performance and management reports
• Coordinate closely with other DA business units/ departments and the Dubai Government for any joint projects in place
• Conduct periodic review on the compliance with Finance P&Ps and DOAs by the various Finance units and provide feedback and resolution on issues identified. Obtain assistance from the Level 3 – Finance Systems and Performance for any complex issues identified

Job Requirements:

• Educated to a degree level in Commerce or Business Administration with a specialization in Finance and/or Accounting. A recognized professional qualification (ACCA/ACA is preferrable.
• 6 years of relevant experience within the Finance field, with demonstrated experience.
• Previous knowledge of system support processes and functional knowledge of finance systems (e.g. ERP)
• You’ll have an understanding of IFRS, business process and control and statutory laws and regulations/implications
