The Design Manager will work closely with the planning function developing designs for the overall Expo City Dubai site, coordinating with all parties to ensure designs are developed to approved codes and standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Survey land and buildings and make recommendations for their future development
• Create detailed drawings using your artistic or graphic skills converting these into technical drawings
• Apply your vision to designing a variety of built spaces and landscapes
• Understand the needs of the space you will design, through research and analysis considering environmental, social, economic, spatial, psychological and physical factors
• Manage 3rd party design firms
Interpret needs and translate these into design

Job Requirements

• BA in Architecture, urban design, engineering, landscape architecture or a related field
• Able to use AutoCAD, Photoshop, Adobe Design, Microsoft suite of products
• Creative design skills
• Experience in all phases of architectural projects
• Strong project management skills
• Keen interest in design and the built environment
