My client is a growing mining and exploration company, based globally.
Description
• Preparation and processing of month end journals.
• Monthly reconciliations of various general ledger (GL) accounts.
• Performing accounting duties in accordance with established procedures and accounting practices.
• Co-ordinate and oversee the audit and tax compliance activities.
• Management of end-to-end accounts payable function
• Assisting with the Management of end-to-end payroll function
• Effectively manage the day-to-day running of the office
• Additional reporting and administrative requirements as requested
Profile
• Knowledge of Pronto ERP system (preferred).
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Microsoft Excel
• High level of IT literacy and familiarity with BI tools.
• Excellent liaison and communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and effectively as part of a team.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent numerical skills.
