Youth Leader Job Duties
• Actively supervise program participants ages 4-12, ensuring their guidance and safety at all times
• Develop and implement program activities that may include sports, art projects, science, and other enrichment clubs that utilize your skills and interests
• Provide homework assistance
• Provide positive behavior guidance and youth mentoring that supports the developmental, social-emotional and physical needs of all students

What do I need to qualify?
• Must be 18 or older
• High School Diploma or GED
• AA/AS degree, 48 college units, or be able to pass District’s Classroom Assistant/Instructional Aide proficiency exam acceptable
• Must be currently 5 days a week Monday through Friday. Shifts available in AM or PM hours (hours may vary by location but typically 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM and AM 6:00 AM – 8:00 AM).
• CPR and First Aid certification (American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or American Safety & Health Institute) is required within 30 days of hire and will be paid through the Y.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $19.69 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 32 per week
