Priorite’-1 Canada, Inc. (“Priority-1”) is a freight services company that specializes in offering full service, nationwide logistics services to its customers. Priority-1 focuses on Less Than Truckload (LTL), Truckload (TL) and Expedited logistics services. Priority-1 seeks Territory Managers that are goal-oriented sales professionals. Individuals must be comfortable on the phone and conducting face to face meetings and have great communication skills. They are required to work without supervision and must use their best judgment to make business decisions which support Priority-1 business.

Location: Toronto, Canada

Job Duties

• Prospecting and developing new business.
• Develop and maintain close contacts with new clients.
• Meet and exceed goals for new business clientele.
• Develop leads within assigned sales territory.
• Meet with new potential clients to determine profitability.
• Consistently enter information into the Customer Relationship Management system (“CRM”) to keep records up to date.
• Participate in training and development.
• On site customer meetings that may include office, warehouse and manufacturing plant tours.

Compensation

• $55,000 CAN Base Salary + Uncapped Commissions
• $675 CAN Car Allowance
• Expense Reimbursement
• RRSP of up to 15% of Annual Income
• Unlimited Growth Potential

Required Skills/Abilities

• Bilingual – French and English
• 3-5 years sales experience, logistics selling preferred
• Excellent sales, negotiation, and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational and record keeping skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced, and at times stressful environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor.
• General business and financial acumen.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize daily workload.
• Ability to drive, valid driver’s license, use of a private vehicle, proof of vehicle insurance.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting and working from a computer workstation.
• Oral communication, on the telephone and face to face.
• Extended periods of movement, which may include sitting, normal walking, bending, twisting, climbing stairs, and stretching.
• Ability to deal with stressful situations and occasionally working extended hours.
• Operate a vehicle to travel within an assigned sales territory.
• Move to and from different potential customer and customer business facilities, which may be office settings and factories.
