Job description
Parklea Primary is a vastly improving split site Primary School on the border with Central Bedfordshire.
Our staff are an extremely hard working team who support each other to ensure our pupils have the best learning experience possible. We are proud of the fact that all visitors comment on the calm, relaxed atmosphere as well as the good behaviour of our pupils.

We have high expectation of all our staff, successful candidates will:
Provide support in the classroom to individuals/groups of pupils as directed by the class teacher/line manager
Support pupils in social and emotional well-being, reporting problems to the teacher as appropriate
The ability to respond calmly and constructively when dealing with students with SEN.
Work 30 hours per week, 39 weeks per year.
Contribute to the health and safety of all pupils which will include first aid and intimate care. Appropriate training will be provided.
Carry out a lunchtime duty as part of their role.
Have the necessary skills and knowledge to work across the school from Reception to Year 6.
Have basic maths and English knowledge, in order to be able to provide the appropriate level of support to our pupils.
Complete first aid training
