Job Overview

The primary responsibility of the Content Manager is to amplify Yas Island and Attraction brands content across Instagram, TikTok, and emerging platforms, ensuring strategic widespread virality globally, measured in “shares” across the platforms. This role supports the Social Media Director to maintain cohesion and integration of our social media presence for destinations and theme parks. Key duties include managing and developing a social media trend content calendar for all assets, positioning Yas Island and its attraction brands as trendsetters across all platforms. Additionally, this role involves on-ground support with engagement-driven activities to maximize content opportunities. The Content Manager will manage and create highly shareable content on TikTok, Instagram, and new platforms, ensuring it is creative, engaging, and on-brand to elevate Yas Island as a leader in the tourism industry.The Content Manager will work closely with the Social Media Director and all internal and external stakeholders to ensure social media plans are effectively integrated with brand marketing and paid media efforts, leveraging any potential earned and owned media opportunities.

Job Scope

• Drive the platform specific social media trend strategy and monthly calendar in collaboration with brand team to ensure we’re leveraging trends within a timely manner
• Develop content calendars to support made-for-market campaigns within our key source markets – UAE, GCC, India, UK and emerging markets
• Develop social media content strategies for each respective brand and optimize content playbooks on a quarterly basis
• Be involved in social content production briefs and on-ground shoots to ensure seamless execution from brief, production, to final content output
• Conduct daily trend spotting to identify opportunities for organic growth on TikTok and Instagram
• Collaborate with the in-house influencer team and creative hub team to maximize and leverage influencer and celebrity content opportunities across all brands
• Brainstorm and collaborate with social media managers on social media activations across the brands
• Work with the paid media team on the development of social & PR outlet content as per campaign briefs
• Support the Social Media Director in ensuring social media content excellence and synergy across all destination and theme park channels
• Foster productive working relationships with stakeholders, agencies, and social platforms.

Essential

• Bachelor degree in marketing / digital / social marketing or a related field
• Minimum 3 years in social communications or related field.
• Demonstrated and advanced experience in social media content strategies
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Advanced knowledge and understanding of social media and networking platforms and monitoring suits
• Strong communication skills
• Creative thinker with the ability to problem-solve
• Must be able to prioritize a demand workload and tight timelines
• Highly collaborative; skilled at working cross-functionally to drive results
• Positive, self-motivated leader who can inspire others to rise to new challenges.
• High energy and adaptable strategic thinker who can multi-task with attention to detail

• 3 years in content ideation and production for social media
• Content management
• Themed Entertainment / Leisure Industry background
• Can capture and edit content via mobile
