i-Pharm consulting are partnering with a Pharma CDMO group in their search for a Senior Manager of Business Development for European markets.

This role will involve sales and business development activities for small molecule drug development services, focusing on both existing accounts and new business opportunities across Europe.

As part of a team covering discovery and development CDMO services, the successful candidate will play a key role in expanding the business’s presence in Europe and nurturing warm accounts. This is a unique opportunity to drive growth in the company’s recently launched development services.

The first 3 months will be spent familiarizing with the service lines and key contacts within the group, followed by focused efforts on new business acquisition within the Biotech/Pharma sector as per the sales strategy.

The role will require approximately 50% travel for conference attendance and client meetings.

Key requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in market-facing business development/sales within the Drug Development space
• Experience in selling small molecule development services
• Excellent English communication skills

This remote working role can be based in the UK, Benelux, or German regions for the right candidate. Applicants must already hold the right to work in the EU or UK as visa sponsorship is not available.
