Job Description:

• Primary responsibility is to prepare financial statements and supporting schedules according to monthly close schedule.
• Analyze revenues, commissions and expenses to ensure they are recorded appropriately on a monthly basis.
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations.
• Assist with analyzing financial statements on a monthly basis and report on variances.
• Assist with quarterly producer commission reports; analyzing and correcting discrepancies.
• Assist in documentation and monitoring of internal controls.
• Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
• Maintain and balance subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions; resolving discrepancies.
• Prepare yearly or quarterly budget / MIS reports.
• Maintain general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts; preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries.
• Summarize financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements.
• Avoid legal challenges by complying with legal requirements.
• Secure financial information by completing database backups.
• Protect organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
• Daily update of Job profitability statement and follow up on the issues with the Project Managers.
• Regular follow up with clients / Project Managers on short certification of the invoices.
• Follow up on monthly project invoicing and inquire on reasons for short invoicing.
• Follow up on the project documentation hindering the actual collection process by working closely with QS and PMs.
• Conduct periodic meetings with all Project Managers to coordinate, smoothen and streamline the collection process.
• Ensure timely payments to suppliers and monitor collections by working closely with the Management accountant.
• Maintain data integrity and accuracy at all times.

Job Skills
