Nash Mills C of E Primary School
Job description
Kindness Respect Inspiring Fun
Hi, we are the Year 6 House Captain team and would like to thank you for finding out about our school. Our school is a fabulous, safe place, which we enjoy coming to so that we can do brilliant learning and see our friends. We all work together as a family, making the school a better place and would like to hear from adults who are caring, patient and kind. We like people who are playful and will make us laugh from time to time too! If you think this could be you, please come and see us!
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated teaching assistant to join our supportive and friendly team within our ‘Good’ school, initially working within our Key Stage 1 classes to support pupils who have additional barriers to their learning. Experience of working with children who have special needs would be an advantage.
The role will be for 30 hours per week, with some time spent supporting pupils at lunchtimes too. There can be some flexibility around these hours if needed. Initially, this role will be until July 2025 due to current funding arrangements however we would hope for it to continue past this point.
As a teaching assistant, you will be expected to work alongside the class teacher to support the learning of every child in the class, with a particular focus on one or a small group. You will build successful and positive relationships with pupils whilst making learning stimulating and fun.
Training and support will be provided.
Fancy the challenge? Then send us your application!
Visits to the school are welcomed. Please call our office to make an appointment.
