Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing sales operations, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets. This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of sales processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans to achieve company revenue and growth targets.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
    Team Management: Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales representatives to achieve individual and team sales goals.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide coaching, and support professional development for team members.
  • Sales Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the sales department, including setting sales targets, monitoring performance, and managing sales processes.
  • Develop and maintain sales forecasts and reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Address client concerns and issues promptly to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships to expand the company’s market presence.
  • Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Sales Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze sales performance metrics, including conversion rates, sales cycle length, and revenue generation.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience: 5-10 years of experience in sales of Freight Forwarding Industry
  • Skills: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Other Requirements: Ability to travel as needed for client meetings
