Your team: News UK is thrilled to announce the upcoming launch of a digital travel retail operation for The Times and The Sunday Times. Our platform will enable consumers to plan and book holidays both online and offline, offering a wide variety of product types.

Your role: To ensure the success of this venture, we are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Travel Customer Service Agent who has a passion for travel, a proven background in luxury travel and tailor-made holidays, and the ability to build strong client relationships with best in class customer service excellence.

Day to day you will:

• Manage flight and accommodation changes, schedule queues, and collaborate with internal departments and suppliers to resolve issues.
• Run and action dispatch and administration reports while professionally handling customer and departmental enquiries.
• Use booking systems for all holiday elements and manage multiple email inboxes to maintain seamless communication.
• Manage quoting amendments, cancellations and re-invoicing to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction.
• Identify and analyse trends in common issues, implementing solutions to enhance guest experiences and streamline operations.
• Address and manage pre and post-departure queries as well as in-resort issues, ensuring a seamless experience for customers.

What we’re looking for from you:

• An articulate and confident telephone manner.
• Strong written communication skills; excellent grammar.
• Experience in customer service and working within a target-driven environment.
• Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A friendly, enthusiastic attitude and willingness to tackle any task.
• Proven experience working towards and achieving service targets (CSAT/NPS) and KPIs
• A passion for delivering outstanding customer service.

Working Hours:

• Monday – Friday: 9am to 6pm (Remote)
• Initially 25 days holiday (+ bank holidays)
• Flexibility to work weekends and out-of-hours.
