Job Description

Main Responsibilities

1.Plan, prepare and carry out the schedule of visits to all customers ensuring the reporting to the Local Segment Manager, through the preparation of the respective visit reports, ensuring compliance with agreed annual sales plan and managing margins according to the established limits by the Local Segment Manager / Region Director, while also prospecting future business in their geographical area.

2.Answer to customer requests/orders, with regard to product specifications, prices, availability and shipment of samples, coordinating with the Local Segment Manager or Global Segment Manager, in order to ensure a prompt and swift response to customer needs.

3.Contribute to solve Technical and commercial issues raised by customers, in partnership with the customer service, production planning and finance dept. to ensure customer satisfaction, by providing an integrated service.

4.Report to the Local Segment Manager or Region Director, relevant information regarding the customers / segments allocated, in particular the needs detected in the market in the course of commercial visits, for orienting the global segment strategy, and to ensure the suitability of applications and products to market needs.

5.Identify and develop joint solutions, together with the customer’s or partner’s technical team, including through meetings with technical teams. Especially important to collect and distribute full application, technical and commercial issues regarded with the project. Where necessary with the support of the Global Segment Manager/Global Technical Manager), with the intention of translating customer needs

The Successful Applicant

To apply for the role, applicants should meet the following criteria;

• At least 5 years of proven experience in a sales
• Demonstrable commercial and technical expertise in construction
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university
• Fluent in English
• Track record of meeting or beating targets
