This ambitious, mid-market European private equity firm is seeking a self-starting, confident front-of-house receptionist, who ideally has some customer-facing experience.

This front-of-house receptionist must thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment and possess strong organisational and multi-tasking skills. They should be a quick thinker, and enjoy interacting with a variety of different people on a daily basis.

Intermediate / advanced Microsoft Office skills – especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint – are essential.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• First point of contact for switchboard & guests (prepare refreshments if required)
• Maintain appearance of the reception area / meeting rooms
• Checking IT before meetings
• Manage meeting room booking system
• Assist with desk allocation in coordination with the EA’s for staff and visitors
• Daily office walkaround / checking on supplies and office appearance
• Communicate / manage faults to relevant departments
• Order and assemble catering / lunch for company meetings if house manager absent
• Comprehensive shift handover
• General administrative support, including document maintenance, couriers / post, shredding collections, archiving, maintaining staff contact lists, expense processing, taxis etc
• Any other duties as reasonably requested by the Company

Hours: Monday – Friday alternating shifts of 0900 – 1730 or 0930 – 1800

Holiday: 28 days holiday (25 + 3 additional days in Dec or Jan)

Salary: £27K + 10% pension (up to a cap) & bens – breakfast / lunch, comprehensive suite of employee benefits
