Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Quality Management: Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO standards and industry best practices.
    Conduct regular quality audits, inspections, and assessments to ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards.
    Oversee quality control processes, including raw material inspection, in-process checks, and final product testing.
    Manage non-conformance reports and corrective actions, ensuring timely resolution of quality issues.
    Collaborate with R&D and production teams to maintain product quality and consistency.
  • Health and Safety Management: Develop and enforce health and safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, national, and international regulations.
    Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify potential safety issues and implement preventive measures.
    Lead safety training programs for employees, ensuring awareness and understanding of health and safety practices.
    Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
    Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials.
  • Environmental Management: Implement and manage the Environmental Management System (EMS) in accordance with ISO 14001 or equivalent standards.
    Monitor and manage environmental impacts, including waste management, water usage, and energy consumption.
    Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards, including reporting and documentation requirements.
    Lead initiatives to reduce the environmental footprint of the manufacturing facility.
  • Compliance and Certification: Ensure compliance with industry regulations, including FDA, GMP, and other relevant standards for cosmetics manufacturing.
    Manage and prepare the facility for external audits and inspections by regulatory bodies.
    Maintain and renew certifications related to quality, safety, and environmental management.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, safety, and environmental performance.
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
    Monitor industry trends and best practices to keep the company’s QHSE systems up to date.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records of QHSE activities, including audit reports, inspection records, and incident reports.
    Prepare regular reports on QHSE performance for senior management.
    Ensure that all documentation is up-to-date and accessible for audits and inspections.
