Job Title: Amada Press Brake Setter

Location: Bristol, UK

Shift: Day Shift, 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £16.00 per hour

Basis: Permanent

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Amada press brake setter to join our team in Bristol. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating Amada and Trumpf press brakes, ensuring high-quality production of metal components according to specified drawings and tolerances.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Amada and Trumpf press brakes to bend, form, and shape metal components.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to determine setup requirements.
• Adjust machine parameters to achieve desired specifications and tolerances.
• Conduct quality checks on produced parts to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on the press brake and report any mechanical issues.
• Collaborate with team members to improve efficiency and production quality.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Amada and Trumpf press brake machines.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Familiarity with metal fabrication processes is advantageous.
