Experience of the National Curriculum for England in the UK ; with additional experience in an international setting is considered an advantage.Aside from experience, personality is very important, we look for inspirational support staff who leave a lasting impression on students for years to follow. If you’re able to demonstrate outstanding standards of teaching and learning, with a passionate , enthusiastic , creative and dynamic attitude then we want to hear from you!Professional RequirementsAbility to effectively engage with and support students aged 16 18 who are following the BTEC pathway, including providing 1:1 or small group support. Familiarity with the BTEC curriculum is highly desirable.Proven experience in supporting students with assignments and ensuring they meet deadlines.Proficient in English, possessing strong verbal and written communication skills.Collaborative mindset with the capability to work closely and harmoniously with BTEC Staff, fostering a conducive learning environment.Prior experience or aptitude for working with students is advantageous, with preference given to candidates with teaching or teaching assistant experience.Education:Due to KHDA regulations, we can only employ individuals with a minimum of High School education in English and Maths; degree preferred.Dubai British School Emirates Hills is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all its students.
