Role Overview:
In this role, the successful candidate will manage the One Stop Shop. The One Stop Shop provides a single point of access for people to obtain information, advice, and support across various areas such as health, wellbeing, employment, and social services and will help others engage with Daisy Inclusive UK’s services.
Main Responsibilities:
One Stop Shop Manager Responsibilities:
• Day-to-Day Operations: Manage the overall functioning of the One Stop Shop, ensuring it is a welcoming, accessible, and well-organised space for service users.
• Service Delivery: Oversee the provision of a wide range of services, including advice on housing, welfare, employment, health, and social services, ensuring beneficiaries receive the help they need.
• Stakeholder Liaison: Build and maintain relationships with local authorities, partner organisations, and service providers to enhance the range of support offered at the One Stop Shop.
• Monitoring and Evaluation: Implement monitoring systems to track service delivery outcomes, ensuring the effectiveness of the One Stop Shop in meeting community needs.
• Client Engagement: Provide one-to-one support and guidance to beneficiaries, helping them access appropriate services and achieve their personal goals.
• Reporting: Prepare regular reports on the One Stop Shop’s performance and progress, including service uptake and impact analysis, for senior management and funders.
Candidate Requirements:
Qualifications and Experience:
· Relevant transferable skills and experience, ideally within the charity or community sector.
• Experience in a similar management role with a focus on service delivery, community engagement, and partnership working.
• A proven track record of working with volunteers, including recruitment, training, and supervision.
• Experience working with vulnerable and disabled individuals, with a commitment to promoting inclusivity and diversity.
Skills and Attributes:
• Leadership: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate both staff and volunteers.
• Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with shop volunteers, staff, and external stakeholders.
• Organisational Skills: Strong organisational abilities, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities across the business.
• Problem Solving: Ability to think critically and solve problems efficiently, particularly when supporting individuals facing complex challenges.
• IT Proficiency: Proficient in the use of IT systems and software, including Microsoft Office, for maintaining records, reports, and program evaluations.
