Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Maintaining and organizing inventory of MEP materials and equipment.
  • Receiving, inspecting, and documenting all incoming materials and equipment.
  • Issuing materials and equipment to appropriate personnel or departments.
  • Ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of stock levels and movements.
  • Coordinating with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Conducting regular stock checks and reporting any discrepancies or shortages.
  • Collaborating with project managers and engineers to determine materials and equipment requirements for ongoing projects.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized store area.
  • Adhering to safety regulations and guidelines in handling and storing materials and equipment.
  • Assisting with the preparation of purchase orders and invoices.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Knowledge of MEP materials and equipment, as well as their proper storage and handling.
  • Familiarity with inventory management software and systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and inventory management.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and project team members.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and guidelines for handling materials and equipment.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, as well as stand for extended periods of time.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the MEP industry.
