Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Maintaining and organizing inventory of MEP materials and equipment.
- Receiving, inspecting, and documenting all incoming materials and equipment.
- Issuing materials and equipment to appropriate personnel or departments.
- Ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of stock levels and movements.
- Coordinating with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Conducting regular stock checks and reporting any discrepancies or shortages.
- Collaborating with project managers and engineers to determine materials and equipment requirements for ongoing projects.
- Maintaining a clean and organized store area.
- Adhering to safety regulations and guidelines in handling and storing materials and equipment.
- Assisting with the preparation of purchase orders and invoices.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Knowledge of MEP materials and equipment, as well as their proper storage and handling.
- Familiarity with inventory management software and systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and inventory management.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and project team members.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and guidelines for handling materials and equipment.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, as well as stand for extended periods of time.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the MEP industry.
