Job DescriptionThe Mathematics Teacher is responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering lessons in mathematics to students. This role requires strong subject knowledge, effective teaching techniques, and a passion for mathematics education.Responsibilities• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons in mathematics.• Assess student performance and provide feedback to support their learning and development.• Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum materials and assessments.• Monitor and manage student behavior to ensure a positive and productive classroom environment.• Use a variety of teaching techniques and resources to meet the needs of diverse learners.• Stay up-to-date on the latest teaching methods and resources in mathematics education.• Engage with parents and guardians to support student learning and progress.Requirements• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, education, or a related field.• Teaching certification or qualification in mathematics education.• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a mathematics teacher.• Strong subject knowledge in mathematics.• Effective communication and classroom management skills.
