Roles & Responsibilities

The role would be responsible for ensuring that customer statements are up to date when requested, collection of outstanding charges and management of all aging for the mall. The role is also responsible for the timely processing (working with finance for invoicing and Tenant Relations for collection of sales) and collection of all Audited sales, %TOR, STOR, NER, Utilities and other tenant costs that have been invoiced. Verify accounts receivable transactions in compliance with AGP’s policies and procedures as well as IFRS for the Mall in terms of the categories above.

Aging reports and collection of outstanding monies
NER analysis and ensuring if a tenant meets the threshold and the Leasing team are notified during Lease period and prior to renewal of Lease.
STOR proactive management – working with Tenant relations to drive marketing or any opportunity to meet STOR threshold
Monitor TOR Tenant’s invoicing and collection of TOR in a timely manner
All Utilities and AMC contracts invoicing and collections in a timely manner
Analysis for Provision of Bad Debts
Audited sales collection from tenants by due date, reconciliation of revenue reported from causal sales to audited and collaboration with Finance for invoicing for any variance and ensuring payment is recovered
Recovery of outstanding balances including VAT with a specific focus on long outstanding dues.
Collection and Tracking of Bounced cheques to mitigate the potential risks.
Collection and Tracking of Audited sales based on the Lease year in a timely manner.
Monthly and ad-hoc reporting and assignments.

Desired Candidate Profile

> Bachelor’s degree in Finance / Finance related qualification

> Excellent numerical & verbal reasoning skills.

> Well versed with CRM systems (i.e. Oracle, SAP).

> Proficient in Microsoft Office especially in Excel but also including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.

> Clear understanding of sub module processes & integration.

> Working in Real Estate / Retail (Landlord) will be an added advantage

> Preferable has Finance and Collections experience
