Job Description

Essential Requirements
• Native-Level English Speaker
• At least 5 years’ experience working with Key Stage 1 children
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent vocational qualification
• Open mindedness to learning and implementing Masterminds’ pioneering teaching methodologies and approaches
• Persona should reflect the premium nature of the Masterminds brand
• Exceptional relationship and communication skills
• Essential to relate well to both children and adults and have strong communication and listening skills
• Team working, flexibility and adaptability with sensitivity to the needs of children are critical to the
requirement of this role
• Highly organized
• Good problem solving skills
• Flexibility and creative thinking
Core Responsibilities
• Planning daily activities in the classroom related to weekly theme and the enrichment programs
• Assisting with preparation of, equipment and any other resources required for daily and weekly use
• Assisting with learning activities which require pairs or small group organisation
• Documenting daily observations and progress of children’s ability
• Supervising and accompanying pupils around school to specialist lessons, facilities, medical centre and any other activity as required, ensuring child safety
• Attending regular staff meetings
• Supervising and supporting students in the event of an emergency
• Assisting and supporting with after school activities as required
• Assisting in a designated classroom in order to support any school staff member absence
• Follow policies with regard to the health and safety of students both on and off the school premises when pupils are under the school’s jurisdiction
• Participate in the annual professional development cycle and demonstrate continuous commitment as a life-long learner
• Maintain confidentiality with regard to all school matters at all times
Compensation Structure
• AED 13,000 – 17,500 per month (tax free), including base salary and housing allowance; defined by slotting based on duration and quality of experience.

• End of service benefits: 21 days’ pay for each completed year of service
• Initial Ticket to Dubai and 2 – 4 weeks temporary hotel stay
• 2.5 months paid vacation across the year
