Roles & Responsibilities

Manage fleet operations by coordinating vehicle maintenance schedules, ensuring all vehicles are in optimal condition and compliant with safety regulations.
Monitor fuel consumption and implement measures to reduce costs, including tracking fuel efficiency and identifying potential savings.
Maintain accurate records of all fleet-related activities, including maintenance logs, mileage reports, and driver performance metrics.
Act as the primary point of contact for drivers and vendors, addressing any issues that arise while fostering strong relationships.
Conduct regular inspections and audits of fleet operations to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
Utilize fleet management software to track vehicle performance, manage driver schedules, and generate reports for upper management.
Prepare and manage the fleet budget, analyzing costs and proposing adjustments as necessary to ensure financial effectiveness.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field, showcasing a solid educational foundation.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in fleet management or logistics, demonstrating a strong understanding of the industry.
  • Experience in managing diverse fleets, preferably in a corporate or large-scale environment, to ensure adaptability to various challenges.
  • Proficient in using fleet management software and data analysis tools, highlighting technical acumen for effective performance tracking.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with drivers, vendors, and management, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines consistently in a dynamic environment.
