Events Project Technician

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Event Project Technician to join a growing events team, working on dynamic projects both in the UK and internationally. This role offers a blend of technical and client-facing responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving and working closely with clients to deliver bespoke solutions.

The Role:

As a Event Project Technician, you will be responsible for configuring and managing proprietary software to build and personalise event environments for clients. Working both remotely and on-site, you’ll ensure seamless access control and provide technical support throughout the project. You will also manage project workflows using Jira, keeping records of task progress and completion. This is a varied role, combining technical expertise with client management, as you represent the company in delivering outstanding service on a global scale.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and customise event environments using proprietary software.
• Develop tailored client portals and provide ongoing technical support.
• Manage project workflows using Jira and maintain task progress records.
• Offer on-site and remote hardware and software support.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication.

Essential Requirements:

• Experience with responsive HTML & CSS.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Experience working in a customer-focused environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Flexibility to travel and work away from home, both in the UK and internationally.

Desirable:

• Knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, React, Bootstrap, and/or MySQL.
• Experience using Jira (or similar) to manage workflows and task progress.
• Previous experience in live event environments or backstage roles would be amazing.
