We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Class Teacher to join our team at Vernus International School. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, supervising, and assessing assigned students according to their educational needs, delivering the relevant curriculum, and ensuring each student achieves academic success. The role also involves contributing to the wider school community, supervising Junior Teachers and Learning Support Assistants, and having advanced computer knowledge.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Teach and assess assigned students according to their educational needs.

Demonstrate a strong understanding of the curriculum, keeping up to date with current changes and modifications.

Implement project-based learning approaches.

Prepare well-planned, engaging, and differentiated lessons.

Administer and mark formal assessments in accordance with guidelines.

Encourage students to develop lifelong learning skills.

Manage student behavior in line with the school’s policies.

Maintain accurate records and data collection on the school’s database.

Participate in school events and support the school’s ethos and principles.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in education or a relevant field.

Teaching certification/license.

Advanced computer knowledge, including proficiency in educational software and tools.

Knowledge of American core curriculum

Knowledge of project base learning

Minimum of [2] years of teaching experience.
