Designation :-

Business Development Manager

Job Objective :-

• Develop business throughout the MENA region and be accountable for the Regional Business Development strategy.
• Monitor and target of area key accounts including customer care, contract enhancement and renegotiation.
• Identify and develop new Customers and additional revenue streams to support growth of Petrochem performance chemical.
• Actively participate in sourcing and tendering of potential local and international contracts across the MENA region.
• Successfully and innovatively promote PPC core activities.

Key Responsibilities/Duties :-

• Establish rapport with existing customers, understanding their needs and ensuring maximization of the turnover of PPC products and services.
• Build and maintain contact with key client personnel.
• Network and effectively develop a sales team with qualified and experienced sales professionals throughout the various business units within the group.
• Identify high potential areas and key growth drivers for diversification (both product and geographic) and implement suitable strategies in partnership with the General Manager to bring about an ambitious organic growth of the organization.
• Maintain good business intelligence with current market and regional developments and act as an interface between PPC HQ and market.
• To take an active role in the business planning cycle and contribute to the continued growth and commercial success of the business.
• To take full responsibility for the timely and market competitive submission of bids and tenders as per customer requirements.
• Promote and maintain high standards of Health and Safety at the PPC facility for all PPC staff and visitors.

• Be a key team player and work in conjunction with the Regional Manager to steer the company towards a leadership position in the industry.
• Identify new product and business opportunities and industry and competitor changes that may require new strategies or revisions of the business plan.
• Effectively communicate the sales strategy to the management team and develop capabilities of sales team.
• Develop business profile across the MENA region and throughout all company facilities whilst actively promoting the company’s services and products.
• Deputize for the Regional Manager during absence ( When needed and required) and ensure smooth operation of the business.
• Manage and develop an effective Sales approach across the PPC MENA region Team members and company facilities.
• Work in conjunction with Mazrui Energy Services BDM’s to ensure synergies and effective communication between respective Sales teams.
• Maintain the quality, environmental and OH&S management system.
• communicate the importance of fulfilling customer, legal and regulatory compliance requirements through periodic communication meetings as well as by conducting management reviews to ensure the availability of resources, that risk assessments are understood, and the integrated management system achieves its intended results.
• Ensure that the corporate policies are understood, implemented and maintained throughout at all levels
• Responsible for the quality of Petrochem Performance Chemicals LLC products and services since you control the resources, systems and processes by which conforming work is accomplished.
• Accept the legal and moral obligations to ensure, as far as reasonably practicable, a safe and healthy working environment.

Ability & Skills :-

• Brought knowledge across the oilfield within Drilling, Completion, and Intervention and Production segments.
• Expert knowledge of business acquisition process from early prospect identification, through qualification to close out.
• Advanced people management skills.
• Contacts and relationships with key clients across the geomarket.

Experience :-

• Ideally a Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in UAE/GCC/MENA region
• Minimum of 5 years in a oilfield services management positions

Academic Qualifications :-

• Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering / Chemistry or related
• Desirable – MBA or related degree

Accountabilities and Performance Measures :-

• Annual financial plans and none monetary growth related KPI’s
• QHSE performance of site operations
• Overall financial performance of the geomarket
• Growth KPI’s around selected principles
• Number of new tenders won
