Duties & Responsibilities:

• Drive and operate a tractor/trailer (weighing over 4,500 kg) and safely transport cargo to its respective destination
• Pick-ups/deliveries (LTL & FTL) in the greater Toronto Area
• Complete all pre-trips, en route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle equipment, cargo, and accessories
• Plan trip logistics by determining most efficient routes
• Accurately log hours of service in ELD
• Must follow and comply with all traffic laws (including Hours of Service rules & regulations)
• Ensure proper documentation for pick-ups/deliveries
• Ensure cargo is secured properly in accordance with safety requirements
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, office personnel, other drivers, and customers
• Keep the company vehicle/equipment cleaned and properly maintained
• Other duties & responsibilities as needed

Travel Area:

Northeastern USA & Quebec

Other Canadian / US states as required

Qualifications & Skills:

• Valid AZ license
• At least 3+ years of experience driving within Canada and the U.S.
• Clean CVOR
• Valid medical assessment
• Asset: Bilingual

Benefits:

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $1,000.00-$1,800.00 per week

Expected hours: 20 – 60 per week
