Reporting to the Vice-President (Administration), the Associate Vice-President (Finance) leads all aspects of accounting, financial reporting, planning, budgeting, treasury, procurement, and distribution. In this pivotal role, you will steward the financial health and integrity of the University, safeguarding its assets and maintaining its fiscal viability.
As a member of the University’s senior leadership team and a resource to the Board of Governors, this position develops and implements financial strategies as well as anticipate industry trends in support of the institution’s goals using a holistic approach, with a focus on the student experience and integrating technology as a tool. You will lead a dedicated team by fostering a collaborative and innovative workplace environment. Your ability to establish and maintain relationships with senior leadership, government officials, and other stakeholders is crucial in meeting the expectations of this AVP position.
