As an Asset Inspector, you will be a permanent employee reporting to the Inspection & Maintenance FSS within Network Operations. You will earn a competitive salary of £31,454 per annum, subject to qualifications and experience, plus a 3% bonus. In this role, you will perform a variety of responsibilities, including the inspection and non-intrusive diagnostic testing of all plant and apparatus associated with the distribution network, repairing minor plant defects, taking oil samples from HV Plant, using handheld IT equipment, replacing/testing batteries, and completing site visits required by the Electricity Safety, Quality, and Continuity Regulations. You will also play an important role in the safe completion of the inspection and maintenance program in the Southeast Region, working either alone or with a team of inspectors.
