Job description

Experienced Accountant / Administrator required for private investment venture capital firm and private family office, located in mid-town Toronto, on the Yonge Subway line. We offer a flexible work schedule, anticipated to be 30 hours per week.

Responsibilities include supporting senior accountants, and executives, general ledger management, accounts payable, bank reconciliations, payroll, T4 filing, journal entries, HST Filing, year end file preparation and data entry of broker transactions. Additional administrative and general office management duties as required.

Must-have-skills include QuickBooks, MS Excel and MS Word, and attention to detail. Knowledge of MS Access and Sage would be an asset. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years bookkeeping experience, and strong English inter-personal oral and written skills. Must be eligible to work in Canada.
