In that role, you will be responsible for the Disassembly/Reassembly and pressure testing of recertified and new pressure control products.

As a Test and Assembly Technician, you will also be responsible for:

· Adhering to all applicable HSE rules and regulations and report immediately any unsafe practices/conditions.
• Performing assembly/Testing Valves and other pressure containing Oil & Gas related components according to relevant working instructions.
• Interpreting, understanding and relating ISO engineering drawings to practical application and work instructions provide accurate assembly/Test reports.
• Training of new employees to operating level and in the company’s HSE protocols.
• Meeting delivery schedules, pre-set time for operations and quality of product.
• Looking after material movements and machine loading within the operating area, including overhead crane operation.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:
• Have Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 5 years of experience in Manufacturing environment).
• Have minimum of 5 years of experience working on Surface Wellhead products, specifically in assembly, pressure testing (Liquid and Gas)
• Have Well versed with API 6A standard.
• Have the ability to interpret and understand engineering drawing and procedures to carry out assembly and Pressure Test safely.
• Have well versed with pressure safety risk and effective mitigation used in OI.
• Have the ability to demonstrate a good aptitude and a keen desire to learn and improve knowledge and skills.
• Have excellent communication skills and be able to understand technical information and technical drawing in English.
• Have the ability to demonstrate a working understanding of Database information Systems.
• Have the desire to become certified in forklift and overhead crane.
• Have the ability to be flexible with working patterns and shift rotations.
• Have strong oral and written communication skills. Have strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Have the ability to work independently. Have strong problem-solving skills.
