Job Description: Healthcare Assistant (OPD)
Position: Healthcare Assistant (Outpatient Department)
Employment Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities:

– Assist patients with check-in and check-out procedures
– Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean and stocked
– Support physicians and nurses during patient examinations
– Take and record patient vitals and medical histories
– Assist with minor procedures and wound care
– Provide patient education and follow-up instructions
– Schedule appointments and manage patient records
– Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to hospital policies

Qualifications:

– High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant preferred
– Previous experience in a healthcare setting, especially in an outpatient clinic, is a plus
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
– Proficiency in basic computer applications and electronic medical records (EMR)
